And there ends Spider-Island. It had its flaws overall, but where MJ was concerned it was the best storyline she’s had probably since the early JMS run, long before One More Day, and certainly the most action-packed, well, ever. Though my fan-cynicism won’t let me believe Peter and MJ are getting back anytime soon, I’m thrilled that she’s a true major player in the Spider-Verse again, and I hope Slott will continue in that vein.
